The MAKERS Consortium was awarded a Supplement of $160,000 in April 2021 by the NSF in support of its activities.

The funding will enable the Consortium to recruit Graduate Students in STEM at Consortium institutions to serve as resource to undergraduate MAKERS Scholars.

 


Graduate students will provide mentoring to MAKERS Scholars in their applications for summer research internships, NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Programs (GRFP) proposals and provide support to Scholars clusters in the development of their community STEM-based prototypes.
